Shops in MN that do springs and rear sway?
Hey, sorry if this isn't the place to ask, I didn't want to hijack any threads, and I don't see a ton of MN folks on here... but here goes.. I'm a new owner of a 2017 MCS. Was thinking of getting just some H&R springs and maybe a rear sway bar (I have DDC so hopefully thats still fine). Looking at some of the vendors around in Minneapolis (Imola, Nur Technik, etc) and just for springs, labor is between 450 and 650 on their websites. I had a MK6 GTI I took to Further Performance for some of the stuff I couldn't do especially with the software, but not sure if they do Mini's.
Anyway, I don't have much more than a low pro jack and some Rhino Ramps, so doing something like springs and that sway is probably a bit too much for me. Have only done short shifters, exhaust, and intakes on my previous GTI's but those were pretty easy peasy haha.
Sorry for rambling, my question is does anyone know of some decent places that I could eventually get those springs and maybe a rear sway done for a decent price if I pull the trigger? I know I'm at the mercy of the folks that have the right knowledge and equipment so I might have to pay up.
Thanks for any info!

If you want to try your hand at DIY, the rears are super easy.
The front being DDC, look in the FAQ section, I laid out the tools needed.
NM has instructions on their website in the technical section.
Rear springs come out during rear sway bar removal!!!
Ive had H&R on DDC for over 6 months now, and they've been great, don't let anyone dissuade you about H&R, NO sag whatsoever.
ECSTuning is my go to place for MINI parts.
If you're shy about DIY, MINIVINNIE might see the Minneapolis reference, and jump in with a suggestion.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I might invest in some jack stands and try myself for the rear sway bar. From what I have seen, it seems there’s a bunch of you guys that have done that yourselves. After I can re-eval the spring situation.
From what hat I have gathered the rear sway seems like the logical first step, and for some the only step they needed.
Again thanks! I’ll let you all know how it goes!

You got it! Tell them I sent you. They did my alignment as well. I forgot. They had it for 6 hours and it came back a brand new Mini
