It's awesome! Zero issues and it handles incredibly. 10/10 would recommend.

I have DDC and the NM springs really make a difference. Handling is improved and DDC still allows me to soften or stiffen the suspension as needed.

Thanks for the feedback.
Is the ride at the same ddc setting firmer than the original springs? Say in normal mode. Is the car much lower?

I would say it is firmer. Lowers the car by about 1.25-1.5 inches I would say.

Sorry for bringing this post back up but I've been looking for some lowering springs for my F56 and from what I've read, the H&R make the ride a little bumpy, and since I can't seem to find a NM Eng dealer in Europe, has anyone tried the Eibach Pro Kit? Thanks.

We can ship to Europe for you. Some people perfer the NM over the H&R on ride qauilty . Also the drop rates:

NM.558846

B46/48 (2.0T)
Front: 33mm (1.30") & Rear: 31mm (1.22")
B38 (1.5T)
Front: 30mm (1.2") & Rear: 30mm (1.2")

H&R

Avg. Lowering : 1.1" Front / 1.1" Rear.

So I had the H&R springs installed and they are quite a bit lower than I had anticipated...

Could this be because we trimmed the bumpstops ? If so, that would make sense.. Not sure how I feel about the drop, honestly wanted a very minimal drop to reduce the wheel gap...

Some pix...

* the shop actually ordered the wrong spacers (4x100 lol) so I'll need to go back for the spacer install.. good news is the tech says I could probably do a 20mm out back so thats what we're going to shoot for!

Cutting the bump stops has nothing to do with the height of the vehicle. Yours sits lower because it's heavier than the 2-door. I think it looks good With 20mm spacers, you'll probably have rubbing issues especially if you have passengers.

ahh gotcha.. that makes sense... this fat pig! lol ..what is there, a 200lb diff between the 2dr and 4dr ? the lower ride height is still a significant difference than what I saw in that green mc pic I quoted above.. oh well.. may have to save for coilovers one day If I want to really dial it in

now re: spacers, the tech seems to think they will be fine... we shall see..

20mm spacers in the rear installed

looks 100x better and actually handles more go-kart-like...is that even possible?

I was just ready to order NM Springs and I noticed two Alpha spring Kits on there site. 1 under new products. The other in a criteria search for the F56

NM.558857

NM.558846

But, they seem to be the same, with different prices.

Is this is an error?
which one to get?

lol the lower price ones I'm Guessing...

NM.558857 is for the R57 and R59

NM.558846 is for the F56 F55

Which site are you seeing this on, think its and error?

NM-eng.com

Definitely an error

That would make sense but its in my cart as F56 .

I'll just order through you ECS, they changed it on the new products, but its still under that part number if you search it on their site, Plus they never responded to me or my email, even to thank me lol .. anyways..

I'm waiting on some friends over at KW to hook me up with some V2's. I'm just impatient, and need something to hold me over I cant stand driving the JCW with a base (standard) suspension.

Welcome,

I will let them know about the site. They might have been out of the office for the holiday weekend.
