Has anyone tried or know anything about BC Racing coilovers (BR series)?

Thanks!

Right? It's shocking what a bit of lowering and a new set of wheels can do.

That's what I'm using, they're great value for the price. The spring rates they use are fairly soft so it's still a comfortable ride at most heights. They're probably not great if you want to get really aggressive with wheel fitment but definitely good for any reasonable setup.

Thanks for info! Would you say at least an inch drop? I'm not looking to slam it, just a little more lower than the NM springs. Any pictures of your car with these installed?

BC said it isn't possible due to spacing issues and I believe them. Take a look at where it mounts, I'm not sure how one could be designed to fit in there.

Most of the pics I've posted have been post coilover install. This is way lower than 1" and it still rides very comfortably with plenty of clearance underneath. It didn't even rub on speedbumps at that height. My next setup will push it way closer to it's max so we'll see how it rides then.

I apologize for not recognizing earlier that some of your pics were featuring the BC's...thank you!

That's exactly the amount I'm looking for! Looks great and i love your overall set up!

So, just to be clear....these BC's are the "BR" series right?
Also, where did you purchase them and for how much?

Cheers!

Yeah, the BR series (cheapest set). I got them from DWS Parts but at the time they were the only ones offering them. They were $995

I hope so! I'd give anything to be able to adjust camber in the front. I'm close to breaking down and getting the powerflex bushing to at least give me a little bit.

What's the part number on these? I've scoured the internet and cannot find any BC Racing Coilovers that will fit the F56.

Thanks

Just put a set of KW V2's on an F56 Friday. I'll be posting pics on our Facebook page later this week. Not only did it look so much better, but handling was back to a sports car.

The only thing my invoice says is T-05. If that's not right I'm sure you could contact DWS and they'd give you any info you need.

How are you liking the KWs?
How low did you go?
Thanks!

Just installed H&R springs. A little disappointed with the ride, pretty bouncy. I have DDC, I wonder how the standard struts fair with lowering springs.

Update....Ride is a little better with the air pressure topped off. It turns out the installer rotated the tires and had the lower pressure tires from the rear on the front.

^^Chances are the biggest change is the bumpstops have not been squished to hell, allowing for more compliance on smaller bumps. Big bumps will still hurt, as lowering springs reduce compression travel by however much they lowered the ride height.

Anyone know if there are differences between the f56 and f55? Would I be ok getting coilovers for the f56 to put on my f55?

You didn't have any issues lowering your car with springs even though you have the dynamic dampers?

No problems with the DDC, however I have switched out the H&R springs for NM and the ride is much better.

Interesting - how low did you drop the car?

What is odd is I have read several posts here that say you can't lower a car with springs if it has dynamic dampers... So your post gives me hope

The springs lowered it about 1.25 inches. I have read a couple people state you cant lower a car on DDC. Not sure if this based on fact or word of mouth. I only have about 1500 miles on the springs, so I guess time will tell.

Thanks for the feedback. Keep me posted. Would love to see some photos of before and after the drop
