the box that the NM springs come with have the recommended specs on there. If you cant find it, let me know and I'll scan the sheet for you

Shoe, the springs are on----but who reads the instructions.
Thank you for the tip, I'll go back and look in the box.
Was able to get the rear camber back to -1.5 and -1.5. Toe on rear is neutral.
The front is fixed (don't want to spend any more $ than I already have spent) and the numbers are -.75 and -.5. I set the front toe at 1/8" out.
Let me now see what the NM paperwork suggest.

Performance minded motoring:
FRONT, Camber-Not ajustable, Toe-Set total toe to -0.10 deg (toe out)
REAR, Camber-Adjust to -1.75 to -2.00 deg, Toe-Set total toe in 0.20 deg (toe in)
For prudent minded motoring:
FRONT, Camber-Not ajustable, Toe-Set total toe to 0.20 deg (toe in)
REAR, Camber-Adjust to -1.50 to -1.70 deg, Toe-Set total toe in 0.40 deg (toe in)

Thanks CountryStyle.
The Degree equivalent to inches thing messes up a lot of folks.
This car was way too twichy when purchased used from a long history of one or two goofy previous owners. Long story, short version: the toe was at 1/2" in.
10 degrees out would be very close to 1/16" out.
I'll leave mine set at 1/8" out to get rid of the twichyness.

I think an alignment thread would be incomplete without mentioning the "Alta Positive Steering Response System"
http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop...se_system.html
Adding caster will hugely improve straight line stability and initial turn-in bite.
They are only listed up to the R59 and not the R60 but these would be so win on a countryman.

Hi,
I'm new here and I'm from canada but I can't see the picture of the alignment specs and my browser says the security certificate is not valid. Any suggestions? I have a 2011 cooper S countryman All4 and it has 18 inch wheels so I think it has the sport suspension. My wife bought it used so I wasn't able to ask any questions of the dealer. Took it for an alignment and the technician said it doesn't have enough adjustment to bring the rear camber figures into spec. I'm told I need an adjustable lower control arm to solve the problem if this is the case any suggestions on a suitable part? Doesn't need to be the best but don't want junk.
Thanks,
Wynnster

I was just searching these numbers and wanted to help Wynnster out:
For 2011- R60 Countryman All4
FRONT:
Left Camber: -0.60°, Tol 0.50°
Right Camber: -0.60°, Tol 0.50°
Total Toe: 0.30°, Tol 0.20°
REAR:
Left Camber: -2.10°, Tol 0.42°
Right Camber: -2.10°, Tol 0.42°
Total Toe 0.33°, Tol 0.50°
Factory specs seem like a lot of toe in both F and R as well as very little negative camber up front. If you even smell something that resembles a hard corner, you might want to consider discovering ways to get more out of the car. I imagine it's not adjustable (I haven't looked).

I just had the nm lowering springs put on and went to get the alignment done and asked to have it set according to nm's "performance minded" specs.
Unfortunately it turned out that I am stuck at -3 degrees camber on the rear until I get adjustable control arms. Corners great but there goes the tires. At least until I want to drop $$$ on arms and another alignment. Think I'll just do it all at once when these tires are shot.
True that every car seems to be different. Seems like some people are fine without adjustable arms.
For whatever reason, the left rear was at -3 and the right was at -2 initially, and since they couldnt bring the left in, they had to put the right one at -3 to match.

Dear friends, sorry to bring the topic back up but I need your help. Just bought myself a 11/11 Countryman S All4 with the 18" wheels and I need to do the wheel alignment, but to do that I also need the specs for the wheel Convergence, not just the camber. Can you help me out?
Thanks a lot in advance.
