Well after a loooong hiatus from the board and the internet in general due to work and other stuff. I'm back and going to be installing a set of Megan Coilovers I got instead of money from someone that owed me.


My question is, I already have the H-sport upper AND lower rear adjustable control arms on my car...what other things should I replace when i'm installing these coilovers? My car has the stock sport suspension right now.

 

Add sway bar endlinks, and maybe a rear strut brace. Just my opinion.

 

Do I need adjustable endlinks?

Good call on the rear strut brace but that'll probably wait for now. I'm thinking more along the lines of what things I should change out/upgrade while i'm tearing the front and rear suspension apart anyways.

 

Do the Megan coil overs come with camber plates? If not, that's a good option for increased front grip and turn-in.

 

Yeah they came with camber plates, one of the reasons I jumped on them when I was offered the coilovers instead of payment for money I was owed. I needed new struts anyways...so now I can sell the TSW springs I bought ages ago and never used and put that towards any other stuff I need to upgrade to go with the coilovers.

 

Gave Waymotorworks a call today, as usual super helpful. I already have the adjustable upper AND lower h-sport control arms, and all he said I really should do is an adjustable rear sway bar. He recommended either the TSW or the H-sport. I went with TSW since that one is on sale.

I'll report back, hopefully the install of everything is gonna happen this weekend.

 

Did the install in an afternoon today. Megan Racing coilovers, TSW Adjustable rear sway bar with poly bushings, did the front and rear brakes too while I was at it.

Relatively easy install and i'd do it all again. Car rides better than it ever did, smoother and LESS harsh!!!

It was just under 2" drop all the way around. Plus running 18x7.5 wheels now that I got in the marketplace here.

 

Yes the Megan coilovers come with camber plate.
