18" with H&R springs

I want to install H&R springs and wanted to know if that 1.4" drop will cause issues as i have 18" wheels.

Any suggestions? I am going with H&R as my service guys is telling me that everything will be covered under warranty if i have any problems with springs and he has not heard NM before...

should be just fine. the total outside wheel diameter doesn't really change any.

You only have problems like rubbing when you add spacers 15mm or 20 mm
Those will rub also if one does go with spacers that size, there is a sharp edge to the wheel well inside the plastic wheel arch which is metal and will cut into the tire, talking from experience.

i heard some rubbing the first time i drove it when i was making a left turn. I drive an hour and now i dont hear it. Went to the same place it rubbed but nothing. I will go to the shop today so they can double check everything. I really do not want any rubbing at all.

Car dropped and looks awesome though... Now it really feels like i have a different body kit than regular mcs.

The rubbing you heard was probably the tire rubbing against the plastic splash guard in the wheel well. It rubbed enough away that you dont hear it now.

The drop looks really good! My h&r springs aren't that even.

Those unpainted arches drive me nuts!

I put 5mm H&R spacers but I'm thinking I may want to change them to 10mm. I have 215/35/18 with NM springs on the car now. Do you think I will have rubbing with 10mm?
