installed me some new parts

just installed a crap ton of stuff yesterday: 22mm rear sway bar, rear endlinks, and kv v1 coils. i still have the control arms to install and need to do some ride height adjustments but i must say it looks sweeeeet and the look will be complete when i get my wheels (work xd9).

high res pics coming soon, my computer crashed and i've been spending the past week getting it all back together.

Those will be some sweet-looking wheels with that setup.

Silly question: What do you find under the car to jack it up by so you can put stands under the 4 normal jack pads?

I was wondering the same thing. I've not looked under mine yet to see what's under there.

here's what i do:

its right behind the front jack point (anywhere along it is safe, i just center the jack betweeen the two holes. from there both the front and the rear of car is in the air and you can put the jack stands under the jack points. then all you need to do is lower the jack and move to the other side and repeat.

is this the correct way to do it...idk
does it work...yes
is it safe...yes (so far )

I use cut-up pieces of 2x4 wood on the same place as the OP

after the install, i went on a test drive and there is a clunking noise coming from the front coilovers every time i turn my wheels near the maximum turning angle. after 100 miles on these now, there is still a clunking noise and i've put some grease but to no avail did it fix the noise. is it because the springs haven't settled yet? or something completely different?

Can you duplicate it with the car not moving? If so, have a friend turn the wheels for you while you listen and feel for the noise. Not many places where it could be coming from.

well i can duplicate the noise when its not moving, the only problem is that it only makes the noise when there is a full load on it and when i have it off the stands, i can't even see into my wheel well.

it has been dying down but still makes noise on speed bumps, drive ways and awful things like those.
