He does and he is...but they just really suck. He wants PSS9/10's but he is a cheap *** so now hes settling for H&R's

I'm done with KW's. Had KW V2's installed. Both fronts blew in less than 6 months. Last week one of the rears snapped in half. Problems with three out of four ... I'm done with them.

can't give you an input on the H&R's but i had Koni (fully threaded body) Coils fitted about 3-4 months ago. They're on the softest setting 1.5" from lowest front, 1" from lowest rear. All the way down will dump your car pretty low.

The ride quality is comparable to stock.

I've heard on several accounts the H&R coils have offered a stiff ride. That's what i read when i "searched"

I have seen OXYBLUECOOP mention that he has them on his R56 cooper.

Can you give a bit more detail in the KW failure...
I'm planning on running some KW V3's.
I've heard many that like the ride/lowering abilities of KW's
What settings were you at and what driving conditions caused the failure?

MidniteCoop, good luck with that. I'll never purchase another KW product again. Don't know what other info you're looking for other that all street miles on the KW V2s. Both fronts blew seals in short order. Had to pay to ship them to KW USA so they could inspect them before they finally agreed to fix them under warranty. They never gave me an explaination for the failures and I ate labor and shipping costs. I haven't even bothered to contact them on the rear failure. The piston rod snapped in half right where KW machine the rod diameter down on the top of the rod (before the threaded portion).

I've had PSS9s on my other car (which happens to have loads of track time) for 4 years longer and never had any problems.

Now if only I could afford Swift springs and TSW camber plates [I remember reading the 2.5ID ones offer less stack height (or more spring travel)]

I've had H&R RSS coilovers installed for almost a year now. They have been flawless and were a great addition. I track my car as well as autocross and up until recently it was my daily driver. While it is a firmer ride it isn't uncomfortable (no complaints from my wife in that regard). The one caveat I have is that the H&R springs lower the car more than I would have liked. Had to adjust to the highest setting and still sits very low. After installing I easily gained 2 seconds on average at the autocross! That's pretty darn good when you are talking only 50-70 second runs. On the track the car is incredible and will only get better when I install my IE adjustable camber plates that I just got.

I guess im a cheap *** because im willing to spend 1200 bucks on my suspension... but the rss coilovers, how do they handle speed bumps? The ones out here are huge and go up 4 inches for like 6 feet and then back down another 4 or 5 inches very abruptly. In your honest opinion, would i be better off getting somthing else? Thanks
