R53 coilovers on R56

Hi all!
I ve read only rumors, and now i have a biiiig question!
Is possible to mount on my cooper d my07, R50/53 coilover? (like this https://www.minimaniac.info/shop/RSX...-Bj06-01-03-02 or like kony fsd)
And if possible, i need to change springs, or the original from the coilover will be good?
Sorry for my english
Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure about those since they are only for 02-03 models (maybe it's all the same, I'm just not sure), but most R53 2002-2006 models should fit. You will probably need adapter bushings for the rear coilovers and possibly wheel spacers. You might have fitment issues that require more customization. I think most people would recommend sticking with coilovers made for the R56 for best results all the way around. I do see different spring rates on most R56 coilovers than the R53's so they may not be optimal.

But I would only do this with coilovers so you can adjust the ride height... but that's all! :D
