You may want to check this thread out, looks like this guy is selling the same thing, "brand new", for only $300. more?

***coilovers look exactly the same***

Can someone tell me what is the difference between the above AST coilovers and the AST 5000 that I see in AST's website. The price is like $1000 cheaper, so I'm guessing the 2 kits posted in this thread only offer camber adjustment whereas the AST5000 offers both Camber and Caster adjustment. I would also think that the cheaper kits are Single-adjustables and the AST500 is double-adjustable (damper and rebound).

It seems the AST5000 is too track-oriented for my needs (3-4 track days). I had TC Kline S/A coilvers in my 335 and love them, so I'm looking for something similar for my '06 MCS. Would you guys put the Cross coilovers over either of these TSW AST sets? I look at TWS website but only saw their modified KW coilvers.

New development at Harrison for race coilovers.

I'll be getting more information soon, and these are 3-way adjustable.

this is a great thread! i just ordered some meagan racing coilovers from way motor works (vendor on here). really looking forward to getting them. hopefully after replacing my bent up OEM struts and installing my under strut plates, i can prevent further mushrooming. since i was already loading up the CC, i added a pulley puller so i can finally install my pulley kit. it will be an eventful time when my package arrives!

http://www.h-r.com/gb/f_twintube.php

http://www.h-r.com/gb/f_produktsuche.php - just enter MINI and R50...

Has anybody tried/heard about the new H&R Twintube coilovers? They've added two versions on top of their monotube product line. For the time being they seem to be limited to European markets but just wanted to check here if anybody got their hands on these...

The first one is stainless steel (35338-1 for European markets) and the lowering rates are 30 to 50 mm all around.

The second one (39338-2 for Europe) is aluminium which ought to save up to 40% over the st steel dampers and this one is using damping force adjustable Koni's. Interesting!

The prices are a little bit higher but would they be worth it?

Coilovers

OK, I realize I am late to this party, but I would like some opinions... I have worn out my HRR coilovers after 70,000 miles of track and canyons and now need to buy a new set.... For the track mostly with tolerability for the street which set is the "best"... Bilstein, Cross, Leda ,H&R .... OR... (2003 S with many mods and 250 HP at the wheel).... Phil Cohen

I am a very fresh noob on here and would like to know what lip this is,
also, how are the vmaxx coilovers?

I'm coming from vwvortex, and honestly, half the people on there are running 300.00 budget coilovers that ride like crap. A lot of them say good things about vmaxx so I was wondering if it is the same in the MC world..

Im not sure what i want to go with. I want like most people cheap but good. I like the Megan and BC because they already have camber plates built in. I've had H&R coilovers before and I like them. I just dont want to spend more then $1500 for coilovers then have to buy $400-500 camber plates.
So here are my choices:
1. Megan
2. BC
3. H&R Street
4. H&R RSS (guessing they are more aggressive then the street)
5. KW V1
6. M7

If I pick any from #3-#6 I would most likely go with either H-sport or Helix camber plates. I already have my other suspension components waiting (TSW rear control arms, front & rear swaybar endlinks, and H&R rear swaybar.)

I have tried searching, but can't find anything on Bav auto coilovers.
Does anyone have experience/heard about these?
I have to ask as they are listed at only $450 and i know Bav auto is respected.

(when I say just under I mean the conversion is ~279.987, so for all intents and purposes call it 280 lbs/in) The shocks are inverted though so the adjustment **** is at the bottom of the shock, which makes it a breeze to adjust settings. This will be my replacement for the factory set up when the time comes.

I couldn't find those on their website. Do you have a link to them?

The m7 or Stance? The m7 is out of production. The Stance gr+ is available at several vendors.
