Suspension Anyone make camber/caster plates for the 07?
Its something we have begun working on. Once we are farther along in the development process, we will put up some more info.
Did you notice a taller ride height with the camber plates installed?
No difference in heigt, the range is from -1° to -4°

Did the spring diameter change for the R56? Or the design of the strut tower? On the pre-2007 cars, you can only get around -2.0° of camber before the springs hit the strut tower.
Many plates for the pre-2007 cars "theoritically" allow up to -4.0°, if you have really narrow springs or modify the strut tower. Stock, you're stuck at closer to -2.0°.

The R56 strut tower design has a bigger opening allowing for further camber adjustment, but -4.0 is pretty ludicrous!
Vorshlag (hope I spelled it right) is working on Camber plates for the R56. Irelands are the only choice on the market now.

The IE Camber Plate doesn't deal with caster. Who installed them? Did you get the fixed or adjustable plates? Did you mod any other part of the Front Suspension?
I have the IE fixed plate installed on JCW R56 and have 1.2 camber setup with the ability to go almost 2.5. I am using the helix bars in the rear to control camber and toe. No change in height. Love it and works like a charm.
Not a single vendor has yet to make real camber/caster plates for the MINI like everyone and their mom makes in the muscle-car world. I'd love to be able to dial in the caster with the strut top.

ıts fixed street and track camber plates..ı can not turn easily my steering wheel..
ı get ın front -1.5 camber
-1 toe in
Noltec made Camber/Caster plates for the R53. I have a second hand pair if you're interested?
I had the same issue on mine and found that between the spring top plate and the IE strut plate, a thicker washer is needed depending on how far the bearing is pressed in. The IE plate needs to spin freely once the whole strut is assembled before installing. Fixed mine up and wheels turn like stock again ..... Hope that helps.
Patience we are working on one

I need caster myself, this is why it will get built
Just fitted K-Mac camber/castor plates. Very happy with them - 2.5 degrees negative camber has balanced the handling much better. I think Mini Mania lists them, or go to http://www.k-mac.com.au. With the way the currency rates at the moment, should be pretty cheap in the US!
