Question When I put lowering springs on my mini do I need to replace my rear links? The reason I ask you in because you have them on your list of mods.

Cool! I got mine too after the holiday sale but have to wait to install them till spring because of crappy Michigan winters.

What tire size will you be using?

I'm running stock wheels and tires until i get my car out of Spain. The roads are just too narrow and parallel parking is a daily occurrence. Plus things are expensive out here, and finding a good mechanic would be a headache. So stock until this summer when i take my car back to Bama.

No my friend... The springs are a mod that work great on it's own it doesn't NEED anything to help it with what it's trying to acomplish. On the other hand if you really want to improve the handling some more, get the H&R 22 mil swaybar from Alta ( hit up Chris he'll hook you up ) With that though I do strongly suggest you get the endlinks because you will see how flimsy the stock ones are. The endlinks help the swaybar do it's job which is keeping your *** end in check. Just make make if you do get it start out at the softest setting so you get used to it ( swaybar )

My end links from Alta are just fine. I may go more radical with my rear camber someday, hence why I got them.

Yeah Alta's Are Just Fine, Im Telling You I Have So Many Parts From Them And Not A Single Flaw. I Don't Understand How People Have Problems With Them

end links have less to do with rear camber than they do with rear sway bar load. you'll need adjustable rear trailing arms AKA rear control arms to make bigger camber adjustments than the stock that only gives about .5°

Well there's a thing we have in the upper 49 called snow, and when it does that, they put this stuff in the back of trucks called salt, and they sling and throw it eeeeevvverrryyyyywhere. lol Just joshin' ya bro.

But I have seen some pics of some pretty messed up heim joints from doing this because they're pretty open to the weather. I've also heard ALTA has fixed this issue... not sure how or what the difference is. I know people from my mini truckin days who swear up and down against heim joints. I personally like them. And if they go bad, I'll just get some new ones. Not to hard.

My fault, I meant control arms, got my terms mixed up. (my sig says it) My rear is at .75* and front is I think .25*. I do a lot of highway driving, so any more is kind of pointless for me.

Ok cool. Yes, i'm running the crown spokes so its 205/45/17 on the dunlop runflats. I dont think im going to go too aggressive because this place has the widest speed bumps I've ever seen. Its up 6 inches then 8 to 10 feet, then back down 6 inches. Its crazy and they are everywhere!! We'll see though.

I'm probably going to rotate the wheels while im at it. Hopefully they dont need balancing. Anyone know of the correct way to rotate? Is it right front to right rear for example??

Well For Starters Here Is A List Of Some Tools You Will Need:
Spring Compressors ( x2 For The Springs Of Course )
Basic 3/8 And 1/2 Drive Sets ( To Remove The Struts, Sway Bar And To Drop The Rear Sub Frame )
Either A Special Strut Socket Or A Spark Plug Socket ( To Remove The Nut On The Strut Bolt )
Allen Wrenchs ( To Hold The Strut Bolt While You Remove The Nut, As Well As On The Endlinks )
Adjustable Wrench ( Hold The Spark Plug Socket While You Use The Allen Wrench To Keep The Strut Bolt From Spinning With The Nut )
Jack And Stands

Honestly The Best Advice I Can Give You Is BE PATIENT Don't Rush Anything. If You Run Into Trouble Just Text Me I Can Give You A Walk Through As I Did Everything Myself. Then Again Those Instructions From Alta Are Pretty T*ts . Whats You Name BTW?

The stock run-flats are non-directional so you can get away with the old method of taking the left front tire to the rear right, and the right front to the rear left.

When you get tires with a clearly noted direction of rotation you're not supposeld to do it that way.
