Gallery! Show me your lowered MINI!

Hi, i opened this thread for the people that, like me, are going to change springs and shocks to their MCS...

Who has lowered his MCS can here post pictures and tell us what kind of springs or shoks he bought.

I hope that this thread can help a lot of people!!

Is it me or do the H&R lower the rear a bit more than the Mach V's do?

That is what I though. I was thinking about getting the the black 16in version.

That was the method of lowering? How is the ride?

Just installed Dan's (Mach V Motorsports) springs yesterday. This was a base S car and even though MVM's recommendation for these springs is Sport Pkg. dampers, I have no complaints with the results on a stock S suspension. I don't think it's over-sprung for daily use, although I haven't had enough time to really challenge the new setup.

Before:

After:

The best part of these springs (besides them being Red ) is the progressive rate. The ride is more compliant than stock and really makes the car feel tight - even on harsh, square-edged bumps that would previously upset the chassis. Other benefits include complete loss of the hairy-*** torque steer that came as standard equipment, and of course trimming back the butt-ugly wheel gap.

Loss of the dreaded wheel gap:

Thanks for a great product Dan, you nailed it with these springs and at a great price too.

Dan's Mach Vs on stock sport suspension/stock 17 in runflats and wheels.
Front air difusser thingy is 6cm (~2.5in) of road at tire, 9cm (~3.5in) in center.
