I personally like Falkens a lot. The sidewalls make for nice stretch. These arent stretched very much at all, but they still give the appearance of being a little stretched on a 7.5. Ive never had issues with them and they are the 3rd set of 512's that Ive owned.

Last ones I had were 215/40/16 on my Schmidts 16x9.

Do they grip well? can I get 25,000 miles out of them? I do like the way they look on your wheels, Where do you get your Falkens? I was looking on tire rack and they dont have them. Any suggestions?

OK so you strongly recomend the h&R products you have, Where did you get your suspension mods? Alta? MOSS? WMW? MM? ProMINI?

I Can Honestly Say That I Do Not Regret Any Of My Purchases, The Sway Bar, Spacers And Extended Bolts I Got From Chris Over At Alta. He Hooked It Up With Good Pricing On Everything Even 2 Day Shipping To Hawaii. The H&R Coils I Got Were From A Member Here BUt They Are The RSS Coils Which Im Sure You Can Also Get Through Alta. May Seem Like I Am Trying To Sell Their Business But Look At It This Way. Just About Every Mod In My Sig Is From Alta And I Have Yet To Have A Bad Thing To Say About Them. Suspension Though..... It Rocks....Nice And Stiff Too, Only Downside Is That Your Car Will Have That Race Car Feel And Your MPG's Will Go Down Because Your Right Foot Will Mysteriously Get Heavier Lol

Falken makes the 512s still (people say they are discontinued) but they make them specifically for discount tire only. I got them cheap. I didnt get good mileage out of them on my VW because I ran 6 degrees of camber in the front to tuck the tires haha. They say they are a 35K mile tire, they are all seasons but I love how they grip for my daily.

It's ok you can sell alta I like their site. I am also a big fan of moss, mini madness, and mini mania. I am not too worried about my MPG's I have done engine mods, NGK plugs, Nology hot wires, MSD coil, 15% pulley, cold air intak, and Invidia exaust, my foot stays in the gas, so the next logical step for me is to mod the suspension. Once you lowered your mini did you have to get the allignment done?

Actually No Because The Coils That I Got Came With Ireland Engineering Camber Plates http://store.nexternal.com/shared/St...unt2=618995308... The Rears Though I Will Have To Get The Control Arms To Fix The Camber

You Can Barely See It But Apperantly I Am Like 2 Degrees Off Or W.E. But As Far As Alignment I Haven't Gotten One Since My Car Still Steers Straight As A Gay Guy lol Nah Jk But No Alignment Needed ...

Oh Yeah And The Reason I Started Replying With Camber Stuff Was Because I Thought You Asked About Camber Issues But You Asked About Alignment Issues And Well lol.... Yeah Sorry About That. Honestly Though I Was Recommended By Sean From NizTek ( North Shore HI ) To Get One But I Just Over Looked It Since Eva Drives Just Fine. Other NAM'ers On Here Might Not Agree With That Though.

Yeah the camber doesnt look bad. My rear with stock alignment specs lowered looks similar to yours. I would really just be concerned about toe more than anything.

Then again, when I got my alignment with the big lowering that I did mine wasnt THAT out of spec...not as much as I expected anyways

My camber was a bit negative up front after my drop (some people wouldn't care about that.), but my passenger front had toe in which was completely unoticeable, even on 120 mile trip back to base. So IMO, I'm glad I got it aligned. The trick is finding a place to align it if yer TO low.

BTW, I also bought my H&R RSS's from ALTA, and their lower control arm to adjust the camber. And JCWGhst is right, it's a sports car now, and it stays pretty flat if I may say to make you really wanna scoot through corners. But the motor is so torquey, (JCWGhst, not sure if you have this problem) it'll still spin the inside tire fairly easy with no trac on. Rear sway is next on the list.

I Have No Problems There Maybe You Just Need Some More Practice Behind The Wheel lol. Or It Maybe That My 10 Mil Spacers Up Front Help Me Avoid That Problem.... None The Less H&R And ALTA FTMFW !!!

Ahh Crap...This is the part of having a lowered Mini that drives me nuts...I already replaced the deflector lip on the driver's side, and I just noticed this morning the passenger's side lip cracked off now too. Guess I'm going to have to stock up on these things if this is the second time in 6 months that i'm having to replace these parts..

Why keep putting them back on? I ditched mine the second I thought about lowering my car.

The only reason front camber would change is if they slide the upper bolts inwards when re-installing the struts. Drop up front doesn't change the camber.

I had to show a STI my taillights tonight.

Cold plugs , no cat and water/meth make a Jcw run STRONG.

225 whp and 220 wtq without a tune and running stock factory jcw exhaust

BlckJCWGhst

Your Jcw looks nice
