Herman, you gotta put a sound clip of your intake, I'm dying to hear what an aftermarket CAI on a JCW sounds like

OT, but yeah, about the plate issue- i can easily make my own with a bolt that fits and a few nuts/washers...
but the pitch on the threading is SO coarse that nothing in hardware stores have!

Anyone know where to get a tow hook threaded size bolt? I believe its right around 5/8" (or in metric) bolt diameter, but the thread has a different pitch

Man, I'm loving the lowered Clubbies. What set up did you use for mounting your lights?

I bought the "no holes" one from Mini Madness. I used to not do the license plate thing on my other cars but got sick of getting pulled over. I had a Euro replica plate on the front of my GTI years ago. I had a Trooper go ballistic over that. Ya gotta love those guys!

I can only imagine. Huge boost with a CAI would sound epic. I can't wait.

Thanks for doing that Herman

Sorry for the late reply, email didn't get sent to me. Anyways, I used VIP quad light bar set up. It can be a pain but once you figure it out, it works out well.

Freshly lowered on Mach V Springs!
1.25" drop all around, pictures taken after about 70 miles, alignment to come this week!
Rides great, you def feel bumps more, but its not uncomfortable at all- and the lower center of gravity is definitely noticiable around corners, as the car holds its own in a more neutral sense now. Can't wait to get my rear sway bar! I want koni adjustables eventually too- as money will allow..
btw, i don't feel the torque steer anymore! Or at least i haven't launched it hard enough yet to be able to tell =p

onto the pictures!!

Before/After comparos

tiny brakes!

larger front view... my hood wasn't latched properly FTL, hence the gap on the pass. side grr

ret*rded rear camber! driver side is worse than pass. need some spacers to widen that stance too!

Look at that rear tire tuck into the wheel well... not the 'good tuck'...
spacers + wider tires... that'll be a good solution

mmh check out that nasty camber

Enjoy! Thanks for lookin
CC welcome!

Thanks! Long story short. I got them on ebay for $1175. Great deal I couldn't pass up. That was for the wheels and Pirelli's. I wanted these wheels from the get go, but couldn't justify that kind of money. I bought black OZ Ultraleggera's originally then I saw the Schnitzer's on the bay and had to buy them.

Wow, that's awesome. That's great that you found such an awesome deal. I saw the Mi2s at the CEC showroom, and the finish looks so much better in person.

Yeah they are definately a wheel that you have to see in person to appreciate. All the pictures I had seen before I bought them did not do them justice. I was surprised when I unwrapped them.
