This is one of our customer's cars also on 215/40/17's and our coilovers. This is a daily driver and at its normal heigth as well.

I've always liked the M7 mini

Question though - "Powered by Cosworth"? Is that referring to pistons?

General feeling:

A Mini lowered on H&R 35mm springs with Aero Kit running 18 inch R105 wheels, would these tyres rub:

225/40/18

?

And, would fitting wheel spacers make things worse?

They will rub just a tad on the inside at full lock. Some 5-10mm spacers should cure that but you might want to max out your stock - camber by loosening those strut bolts and pushing inward. The rears should be fine w/or without spacers.

Wow, after looking at ya'lls lowered mini's, my mini using JCW springs looks like a 4WD.

How do you mean mate?
Im not very well up on camber and the like so what you just said above I am really interested in doing as i have read that the R56's handling can be greatly improved by altering its camber - its just that I never knew what you had to do to change the camber setting?

any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Buy new rear lower control arms and front camber plates. Unfortunately, it's kinda pricy to do, but if you want better handling, I'd do it.

Missed this when you posted - it's approx 1 3/4 drop. No camber plates - Alta rear control arms. But I AM using the camber slots in the strut towers. I just popped the plastic retaining piece out when I installed the KW's.

The links all broke when I rearanged my photos, so here are some new ones...

However, that front chin spoiler is just BEGGING to be ripped off on LA roads/freeways lol. Guess you don't need to worry about that in FL though!

Soon to be much lower Hoping to get the front down another 1-2 inches with some custom mounts and the rear 2-3 inches with some much shorter struts

I'm glad you've still got the R56 with the jcw kit. It looks amazing. I look forward to seeing what you have in store with the new wheels

Dont know what was the last picture you seen..but the items that I changed....I painted the wheels (red Strip coming off) added the CF Splitter and some CF parts and did the joey mod. The only thing I am not happy with is the red strip...other than that it is exactly where I want it....
