Vibration when travelling from 2k to 3k RPM
I have a 03' MCcvt. Last night I was coming home on a major road and was cruising along around 50-60mph. As I would go from 2k to 3k RPM I got a pretty strong vibration in the wheel, pedals, and felt like my seat. When both accelerating and decelerating. This is the 1st time that I've felt this, any ideas what may be causing it, or if its actually normal?

If it's speed relative you may want to check your tire balance.
Nope, been on my rims since day 1, and this set of tires since November.
Hmm, would I be able to see the engine mounts from just popping the bonnet, and if so, what am I looking for?

That's the front engine mount damper, notorious for leakage. Look below the car, as well, for this black stuff on the inside of the wheel and/or on the ground. My car has already had the OEM damper replaced. That's one of the reasons for the aftermarket damper above it.

Yes, you are right. The 03 is a rubber-type mount and not that metal cylinder looking thing. Sorry.

check your front wheel bearings. had a similar problem on a customers car last friday, turned out to be the right front wheel bearing. kind of weird since it wasn't constant or always present. it would come and go after you got over 55mph.
