Down goes Camel

Waiting for flat bed to take it to the hospital, but Camel is out of action at the moment. Major oil leak, lost all it's oil.

I just had a service last week, I dont know if thats what caused it, but we'll soon see.

Poor camel.

Update: Flatbed wont be here for 2+ hours so screw them. Going to have to wing it 6am tomorrow morning. Pour oil in as I drive.

The only other similar story I've heard of was when someone had there oil changed and the nut was barely on. Enough to let the oil leak out

heh, thanks for all the words of support guys!

Decided to flatbed it to dealership early this morning. It was a fun ride, although very weird watching your whole car go up and down at every bump in the road, like a boat.

The SA just called and he told me that the seal was not on properly where the filter was (as a result of last weeks service).

I'm quite pissed about this because if I wasn't too alert (I park in a very dark corner at home where you can't see jack) I would have had a popped engine because of this, and I doubt they would have taken responsibility for their rookie style oil change.

But they treated me right today and their apology is accepted, so I will go there again, maybe not for 95 dollar oil change though.
Anyway, picking the car up in the morning, so the blower will be singing it's tune into the weekend.

Motor on guys.

Please check it again when you pick it up. The dealer did this twice to me, in a row. They first told me a bad o-ring then they said a faulty oil canister. What happened was that the monkey that changed the oil in the first place crossed threaded the oil canister. happy to hear it wasn't anything major.
