Valve cover oil leak

I have a leak here as you can see in the pictures.

I had this before replacing the valve cover gasket. But after replacement, I didn’t have any oil here for a few months but now it is back.

Any suggestions/recommendations?

You sure you didn't just spill some oil around the fill hole? I think that's where it winds up if you do that: it flows down under the plastic cover.

Yep, mine did that also when i spilled it once. Pop that front cover off and clean up the oil. Then drive and check it later. If its still leaks you have a cracked cover: N12/N16 valve cover in this thread.

That looks like a spill to me as well. Soak it up and clean it good, then see if it comes back.

I noticed a leak just like this a while ago and remembered a few months before that when adding oil to the engine the rubber seal under the oil filler cap slipped off. I put it back on but maybe not correctly. I removed the cap again and made sure that the rubber seal was seated correctly in the cap, then put it back on and cleaned up the oil. No more leakage since.
