Door lock malfunction:

Randomly one morning my mini would not unlock with the remote. So I have to unlock it with my key which comes out of the remote and sticks into the door. Upon further investigation, I have noticed that the passenger door does not lock or unlock with the remote, the drivers door only locks with the remote, the gas door locks but does not unlock with the remote, and the trunk works perfectly fine. It unlocks, locks, and when you hold the trunk button on the remote it opens. Any ideas what it could be? Help!

Since you can open the trunk with the key, we know you're at least getting signal into the car. The fuse box has the circuitry to open and close the doors. I read your other post with the car shutting off randomly and again the fuse box is somehow related....IF the car has a sunroof, inspect for water leaks in that area or corrosion.
