Lock on one door not responding to fob

Just curious if anyone can tell me where to look to fix this?

The driver's door MUST be locked and unlocked manually with the key. Everything else works just fine with the fob.

Any thoughts? easy/hard fix?

Do you mean the lock is messed up, or do you mean the keyfob unlock button is not working correctly?

More than likely you'll need a door lock actuator

To clarify, the fob works fine on everything except the driver's door. I must use the actual key in the lock on the driver's door. Both lock and unlock.

Is the actuator an electronic item or a mechanical one?

Both. It's the latch mechanism, and it has a couple solenoids in it and
connects to a wiring connector, as well as a couple levers and cables attached.

The actuator is the complete electronic part and latch in one assembly
