How can I lock the driver door with the door open? The key fob won't do it.
Trying to push down on teh lock iteself won't do it.

Any suggestions?

 

I don't think you can. It is so you can't lock yourself out by accident.

Why do you want to lock the door when it's open?

I often have a load to carry when going to the office or into the house. The only option I have right now is get out of the car and sit the items on the hood or go around to the other side of the car. Not very efficient.

 

IF the doors are open you can push the key fob and I believe as soon as you close the doors they will automatically lock. It does this on my MINI.
