loud exhaust leak after spirited driving

03 MCS . I curently have a stock exhaust manifold with a WMW exhaust ( sounds great btw ). I had noticed a very small exhaust leak over the last month or so but today I was driving home and during some "spirited " driving the exhaust leak went from a wisper to a shout ..lol
I havent looked underneath yet as its super hot right now . I thought it might be prudent to see where the most common place for leaks might be before I crawl under to look.. Thanks in advance for any help/advice

Things just go really wierd . Started up the car and the exhaust leak was very evident . Turned onto the main road and... the leak disappeared completly ... normal exhaust ... at least until I accelerated again then noise came back . It disappeared again on the way home .. WTF ???

Wouldn't hurt to check your motor mounts. Old mounts will cause excessive motor movement.

The engine rocks back quite a bit under load when accelerating hard through the gears or when repeatedly stabbing the throttle hard, like during autocross. This rocking motions gets transferred to the exhaust system which can results in cracks in certain of its portions (flexpipe, etc.). This happened to me during an autocross event. Got the cracked exhaust pipe welded and installed lower engine and transmission mount stabilizers by Powerflex. Has been trouble free since then. The only thing is that I get more vibration at idle when the AC compressor is running, but I can live with that.

Make sure you mark the two pieces before you take it off, that way you can be precise about the alignment when you get it welded.
