Well on the way to work yesterday, as soon as I got on the highway I hit a little bump. Nothing crazy but all of the sudden I felt my drive rear sag and I heard rubbing. I pulled over and this had happened. Now the fun is getting that bolt out. It wasnt loose I had it torqued to 120ftlbs and the bolt is still sticking out the other side like they do.
Dang, sorry to hear this. I have seen that happen on lowered cars on bad roads here in ohio/MI. Get a tap kit and drill it a little to get the tap out set. Then slowly pull it out. I had this happen on the main shock/strut body bolt on my front suspension. It was rusted really bad in place w/ like 250K miles on it. Dang salt and bad road kill the MINI parts.
