I was just listening to the radio on my way to work and they were talking about the sinking of the Tricolor in the English Channel last week. They marked off the area where it happened because the ship is not far below the surface of the water. More recently, however, they said that ANOTHER ship (I'm not sure if it is carrying cars also yet or not...I am looking for the story, but I think it is) actually missed the marked off area and GOT CAUGHT on the Tricolor. They were able to get the ship unattached without any noticeable damage.....

Just thought that was an interesting story for a Tuesday morning.

LMini, it was a much smaller ship and I do not think it was carring cars from the pictures I saw yesterday. They towed it off and it went on it's merry way.

Granted it was foggy and at night but you think you could miss a sunken ship with a bouy tied to it. Maybe he used to drive the Exxon Valdeise.

Thanks LMini, the picture needs to be updated though, my wife gave me rally lights that I put on, dang gotta get the camera out.

That's what the guys on the radio said....something like "Oh it's good to see the captain from the Valdeise is working again...."

Talk about a small world! I was out eating lunch when I heard the guy next to me say that he had just gotten a call from BMW stating that his mini was on the Tricolor. He wasn't to upset about the fact that his mine was sitting at the bottom of the sea.
