Misfires Cylinder

Got this error code 002C01, high pressure fuel, pressure to Low. I replace the HPFP still getting error code lost of power. After all the testing end up is cylinder 3 misfire and the fuel is running to rich, the spark plug has carbon fouling. What is the possibility cause this is it the injector faulty, sensor or electronic stuffs faulty?

How many miles? What year R56? Have you checked the valves for carbon build up?

After checking the car fond that coolant water leak from thermostat housing, ATF oil leak from the drive shaft, engine oil leak from the flywheel and white smoke from exhaust suspect is valve seal wear off. Planning to replace all the seal, timing chain and ATF filter. What are the special tool I need to get this job done and what are other things I should look up for? Thanks

It's not unusual for the thermostat to start as a hairline crack and leak pooling on top of the transmission. If you go to our site HERE, click on the tech info tab at the top and then select the R56 articles. There is an extensive library of DIY content that can help you with a lot of these projects. It covers the N14 engine in specific, but some might still be useful to you. Each one will list what tools are needed for the job. Are you just using a generic scan tool or is it MINI/BMW specific?

I suspect is the thermostat seal wear and causes it to leak. I am using Carly BMW to scan. Thank for the information.
