Bulb indicator

Within the tach, I am getting a bulb out indicator. I have gone through every exterior bulb on the car and they are all working fine (including the license plate bulbs). Not sure of next steps. Wondering if the hidden menu could assist me in figuring out what bulb the car thinks is out. I am wide open to ideas or suggestions in tracking down the issue so i dont have to keep ignoring the bulb out indicator

Are you running LEDs? That's the problem.

Have you had someone press the brake pedal and confirm both bulbs in either socket function?

Reverse bulb?

Rear fog lights, front fog lights?

not using LEDs. Yes, had someone in the car testing all bulbs including fogs front and read, brake pedal etc.

We've also seen cases where contact between the bulb and socket was good enough for the light to light up, but bad enough that the warning system detected a problem. Make sure the connections are clean and tight.

You'll need to manually inspect each socket unless you have a dealer level scan tool that will tell you exactly which socket is showing a deviance.

the person said they accessed the hidden menu and within found this
CC ID 122 (indicator, front left, failure)
CC ID 125 (indicator, rear right, failure)
CC ID 133 (rear light, left, failure)

maybe there is a way to do something similar without going bulb by bulb? I am not sure where in the hidden menu he found this though. Ive asked, no reply, yet.

This happened to me before. But the warning message specifically stated left fog light, so it was easy to find and fix.

This warning light came on recntly in my 2012 Mini justa and I found a license plate light burned out. Today I replaced that bulb with a new one from the Mini dealer, but the warning light still comes on each time I start the car.

QUESTION:
Should the warning light reset itself with time or do I have to do something to reset it?

THX!

can anyone direct me how to access this hidden menu? More specifically, where within the menu to find bulb information. I am stilling having the bulb warning light come on with no bulbs out and my daughter is taking a road test with the Mini. Unsure if they will not pass her because of this

Can't link the thread, but here is some info below that might help.

There is something similar for the 2nd Gen...trying to locate that info now. From memory I think it was to hold the ODO reset button for 12 seconds or some such thing. Add up your VIN digits, enter that at some point and then you get access to the menu.
(read the YouTube comments for additional info)
