Car will turn over, but just wont "POP"
Parked my car sunday night, it snowed all night and I went to start my car this morning and it would not start.
It turns over, but it would not start.
I tried to spay some starting fluid down the air intake but that did absolutely nothing.
So I'm thinking it has to be something electrical like the coil pack or fuse. I really have no idea
Any help would be great! Thanks

If you've got battery power, it's either fuel or spark.
Not sure if the old 'pull the plug, attach to plug wire, and look for spark' still works (might throw a code?), but that's one possible option.
Could be frozen fuel line (water in fuel?), but if you tried ether and got no joy, then you're correct that it's probably spark. But that stuff doesn't usually fail in a 'cold overnight' scenario. Do you smell fuel (if you keep cranking, with no spark, you should notice gas, especially if you pull a plug.)

Checked a couple of fuses today, fuel pump (F20, 20A, inside left kick panel) and ECM; ignition coil fuel injectors; crankshaft position sensor (F02, 20A, under the bonnet. both fuses were good.
Here are some pictures of a bare ware was rubbing, just noticed it but where not touching when i tried to start the car.
I will try and tape up the wires and start it again, idk if the high voltage associated with the coil would make it arc to the metal.

what plugs are you running?

That's the connector to your MAP (Manifold Air Pressure) sensor. That would make sense why it's not firing. If it doesn't see any air flow, it won't fire up. Not sure if arcing could have damaged the sensor, or if it's just not receiving the signal.
Would there be a fuse for that sensor?
it has 3 wires im assuming one is for power, another for ground and the other for the output signal..
If you were to ground out the power would it just blow a fuse (if its fused)
ground out the ground... and well its grounded
but if you ground out the output signal it would read 0vdc (.6vdc-1.5vdc high vacuum, idle... 4vdc low vacuum, full throttle)
anyone have any ideas,
I tried to hook my iphone up with the rev2 app and a PLX kiwi wifi, but i was having trouble getting it to connect.
I was going to see if it was throwing any codes. Ill just have to wait for dev toaster(makers of Rev2) to email me back,

I have hope they will get my car to run Fri, after a starter and plug change out, if not maybe we should hire a truck and send them to Des Moines?
Have you changed your plugs? Do you know if they see sparks? Stick a spark plug in a pulled spark plug wire, hold to a ground and see if it sparks while cranking. Don't get shocked
. Unless someone knows how to do it a better modern way.

Yeah, ill get one tomorrow.
I can ground the plug and it should still produce spark..
I just bought some for the JCW at Napa, they had to order them, but you can use anything that fits in the cap to look for sparks.
hope its a good friend ... for a shock
So I did not have spark, I used a new spark plug I found in my garage, think it was for a lawn mower. But I touched the body of the spark to a metal support under the bonnet, had a friend turn the engine over.
So could it be the coil, or the map sensor since the wire is bare.

looked at any fuses that be blown? , anymore I hate these f..in modern carsthat nobody can work on
I talked to another guy he said he ended up replacing his DME module (computer)
I think I may have shorted out the DME, because of map sensor grounding if it where the power wire it may have produced Hightower current that the powe supply couldn't handle.. Still unsure going to see if I can find someone parting out a mini
It's a yellow top
