Chrome bit on the parking brake

The chrome finish piece that surrounds the parking break button at the tip of the parking break has broken in my MINI. The prongs that insert inside the handle and hold it in place broke and now the part is sitting in my cup holder. My local MINI dealer quoted $175 to replace the whole parking brake. All I need the replacement chrome bit. Anyone know where to find this part for sale????

Thanks! I found this diagram too on realoem.com but didn't see where to buy. Where did you find this for sale? What site? All I need is the end piece of the handle labeled as #3.

I had the same problem and I stuck mine back on with a bit of epoxy. It was fine until I replaced it with a Whalen.

I used good old clear silicone adhesive/sealant to fix my parking brake button tip...still holding after two years.
