My turn

Just got the cold start this evening. Be calling up the stealership tomorrow and having a bazillion things fixed.

welcome to the "club." ever since I had my tensioner fixed it's been a cascade of problems, almost to the point I may bail on MINI for good here the car is only one model year old with low miles. I mean, I really like my dealer, but no car should have these problems in so few miles. good luck P

I will find out Monday that is when my apointment is. Since it started it has happened on and off about 5 times.

What problems have you been having after getting the tensioner fixed?

Took it in yesterday they said that they couldn't replicate it so they did nothing. Said that it could be the turbo from oil starvation at startup but after watching so many videos of it I know that it was not.

that my friend is total BS on your dealership's part. they should know better. can U get it to another dealer?

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. I feel your pain, believe me. Frustrating, I know, and I can imagine even more so when it's the engine itself!
