Passenger door will not open from inside

2005 mcs passenger door no longer opens from inside. I have to open from outside. Suggestions????

Might want to post in the first gen area for those more familiar with your car....

But I will say, you could probably take off the door panel and look around in there for something loose...

It's a pretty common problem that our '05 Mini S had on the driver side. Dealer had to fool around inside the door to get linkage to work. Don't remember too much more about it now, unfortunately.
