OBD p1776 1776

"Service Engine Soon" light on my '05 MCS auto-transmission. OBD meter shows 0700 and 1776. 0700 makes it a transmission problem, but I don't know the meaning of code 1776 within MINI or BMW.

Anybody know the code fault? Any specific experience with this fault? Thanks.

The problem was the ABS speed sensor. In my case, it was the left front.

I found a kind Mini shop that put a full diagnostic computer on my Mini, and he was able to get the detail code for the front left ABS speed sensor. This is an easy fix and took me less than an hour to replace the part. The part cost about $70.

So how would one find out which sensor wire is bad,
Scanning the Code doesn't specify which cable....other than
physical damage how would I be able to tell?
