Help! intake breather tube/valve cover install
Help! intake breather tube/valve cover install
sun night decided to finish my mini project--oh yeah right...
replacing the valve cover gasket (down to the valve cover, the bolts are loose but haven't pulled it off yet..)
my breather tube from the valve cover to the air filter down tube (right side of engine= driver's side) is cracked and full of gunk. it was routed to my oil catch can which i had installed per alta instructions...im going to reinstall with drphilgandini's alternate method.
so the airbreather tube will go back to original connection at air filter down tube.
can I just replace the cracked tube with quality fuel hose?
and do I need to use fuel line instead of the alta hose in the new occ setup?

in case anyone ever found this thread in a search
I am going to reroute my oil catch can lines to my original configuration, which is detailed here

I don't know why, but there was a very fine amount of oil in the sc manifold when I removed my intercooler. It wasn't there before, so I'm going back to the original configuration above..
