2006 MCS EML light turns on as soon as RPM goes above about 3K. I reset the OBD and I can run forever at low RPM, but as soon as I go above 3K, on comes EML and Check Engine. OBD code says N/A. Another note, last week, the idler pulley seized and belt broke. Easy fix and the car ran fine for 50 miles or so and then this. Seems too much to be a coincidence.

 

Sounds kinda like a crank pulley failing as the rubber often cracks and causes the EML light like that. Time to get an ATI Damper.
