What I'm after is the front wheel toe-in/toe-out setting. I know some racers are going with a slight (under 1 deg) of toe-out.

Thanks for the link. I printed that information.

If I were to get a professional alignment, what type of shop does that? Is there a particular alignment machine that's better than another?

I've had about 6 alignments this year at a local shop. On the sheet they give me with the before and after results they also list the specified range

For front toe it's -0.03 to 0.03, with total front toe from -0.05 to 0.05. On the front, I usually run 0 or neutral, with a slight toe out in the back - that's primarily an autocross setup.

I'm considering your wheels that are for sale

David

I had my alignment done at a brake and alignment specialty shop- that's all they do. They had about 5 or 6 bays and specifically used a certain bay for my MINI.
I don't know the name of the equiptment that was used but I'm sure that this type of shop would know what to do even if a MINI had suspension upgrades which I did have. They can do adjustment however you want from factory settings to autocross or custom.

There's a Fletcher's Auto not too far from me. I checked with them on the way by just at their closing time. They do alignments for 69.00. I'm taking it there early next week.

Thanks again for all the information!

Happy Motoring
Dominic

p.s. The Kosei wheels would be awesome for someone who races. Light and wide. I just added my latest pix of th wheels (tires have been removed from them now).

Well, I took it to Fletcher's and the toe front and toe rear were out of spec. They also leveled the steering wheel. Good stuff! Only $69.00!
