Sometime between Alamogordo and Roswell, NM, my OBC determined that my average speed was to remain BELOW 1 mph. Presently it reads 0.6mph. I've started the car numerous times and no change (although it did come up from 0.4). I haven't reset it since I left (8k miles, 1 month), and I have experienced no lost time or other electrical malfunctions that might indicate alien abduction.

Thoughts?

You have entered the Twilight Zone. Roswell, NM sounds like a good explaination to me.

Try re-setting the Average MPH mode by hlding the PBC button down for 5 seconds while in that mode.

You are still in Roswell, it all makes sense. Even though it appears you are going through your daily routine, there is a good chance that you have been abducted, along with your MINI, aboard a spacecraft.

The aliens are able to control every aspect of your environment. They even have a nice highspeed connection to the internet so you can post here. There is only one problem with this grand construct...

The aliens are completely baffled by the computers and electrical system of the MINI.

They cannot make the readouts show anything but the plain fact you are sitting in one place in the cargo hold of an alien spacecraft.

They are working on a fix for the stumble problem I bet. They aren't going to wait for MINIUSA to do it.

They know your OBC could be used to infiltrate their computer's security system and leave a worm virus that may destroy their entire galaxy.

Did you talk to anyone when you did

The aliens are now pissed that their spacecraft now has a nasty stumble going to lightspeed and there is an incessant rattling coming from the aft cargo bay door.

...And the alien co-pilot's chair is squeaking and won't recline.
