What brand is the original rims ?

NYC cost me a rim this time I hit the bump and now my rim is bended. My dealer said that I need a new rim since the bend is kind of effect the balance. I am gonna order the rim online but i'd like to order the same brand of rim which i use on my 2003 MCS (205/45/17) now.

Can you guys help me to find that out? And of course if there is any suggestion I'll be happy to hear them.

Do you know which model wheel you have?

Does it look like this? These are called S-lites

You can order a new one straight from the dealer. Or you could look for a used on here in the marketplace: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...play.php?f=150

The rims on the mini are specced thru BMW, the only place your going to be able to buy them is thru a dealership, or a company that specializes in the mini like outmotoring. Here's a lik to the R53 wheels page.

Of course another option is replacing with another set of wheels. When I bent a rim in august I looked at purchasing a replacement wheel and tire at a dealer that would have been around $525. From Morristown MINI the wheel was ~200 shipped plus a $150 for a tire from tirerack and ~ $50 to mount and balance so $400. From the NAM and SunshineMINI (my local forum) I found several Sidewinder takeoffs (4 wheels & tires) that were pretty much new for about $400-500 plus shipping. I was planning to go this route, but I found a set of R90s with tires and decided to put that money toward an upgrade. Of course there is also ebay, but I never found as good of a deal as marketplace. In fact, I now see that someone is selling a set of Sidewinders for $500 if you are willing to drive over to PA (not sure if it is possible since you have a bent wheel). Hope this helps and best of luck!

Thanks for the answers. Yes I have S-Lite and outmotoring.com have the same one that I have now.

The reason I didn't call the dealership I was kind of hoping to find a cheaper rim online. However, outmotoring.com and my dealer's prices are almost same.
I am not really fun of buying used things for my car, especially from ebay kind of places. I like to know every part of my car, so i try to buy everything new as long as my budget allows to do so.

Thanks again,
Serdar

Look in the Market Place, "Wheels and Tires for Sale" forum. U should be able to find one for a good price.

deep six all your rims and tires and go total urban warrior . get some cheap konig 16's and regular tires from tire rack or discount tire direct (both are good ). then when you bend a rim ; you won't care. they handle way better and the tires are way cheaper. also the repair kits sold by mini mania and others work fine . for me now a rim and tire is about 175.00 total and they look good and are 15lbs lighter .

Note that in this case, you're replacing a used part, and it's not like wheels suffer from stress fatigue. Used S-lites go for $50-$150 depending on condition. You're free to spend your money as you see fit, but I just can't see the rationale which supports pairing three old wheels with one brand new one. In many cases 'you get what you pay for', but buying a brand new OEM wheel vs. one from someone else who has broken up a set doesn't net you any tangible benefit. In the NAM Marketplace section you'll find all sorts of enthusiasts selling S-lites. They aren't cheaper because they're not as good as a new S-lite, they're cheaper because people have chosen to replace their heavy (25lb) S-lites with lighter wheels.
IMO, of course.

FWIW, the rims were originally made by Ronal.
