Hi there, hope the weather is nicer down south. I just saw that the entry list is open for this event. I'm currently helping out with the newly created Central Iowa MINI Club (CIMC). I am trying to get this event on our event list, bt I need to know if this event has moved to a new location. I heard a St. Louis Bread Co. was being built where the event has been held in the past. My question is whether or not it is still limited space wise. Hoping our clubs will collaborate more.

The 2011 St. Louis European Auto Show will be at the south end of Plaza Frontenac Mall. There should be more room this year but spaces will still be limited. The show always books full so please register early.
I am contacting sponsors for the show now and would love to hear of any people you know who might be interested.

Has anyone else registered their MINI Cooper from the STL Area?

 

Well, I think its a "No Go" for CIMC coming to the event, but I will be there with my Hzb Clubman S. See y'all there.

 

I did not see as many MINIs and the show there year as in the past. Was something said or done by the organizers that kept club members away this year?

 

We didn't make it this year because we had tickets to the Cards/Cubs game, and we were going with my dad who was visiting from out of town. Otherwise, I would have gladly entered again. Thought it was a great show last year, and I'm sorry I had to miss it this year.

 

Too much going on in real life, the MINIs have suffered & were not show ready )-:

 

I am glad to hear there is not a problem and it is about timing. The MINI club always has a nice showing and this year there was very few in attendance. I wanted to make sure there was not something I needed to do.

I have read a number of messages from attendees, vendors and sponsors to the board members saying this years show was the best one yet. Being involved with organizing the event I can say the day of the event went off very smoothly.

PS: I found out that applying stripes to my MINI is not something I am good at I have a pro in the warehouse right now doing what I could not.
