Right now I have the Aero grill, I suffered the pain of cutting the grill but what do you have I might still be interested in the mounts if they will work.
-Thanks

I drilled a hole on the regular grill, there are smooth vertical tabs behind the slats, and mounted the 500s direct.
But I don't believe this is an option with the Aero grill, however here is a solution for the R56 honeycomb that I believe could be reasonably adapted to work on the R53 Aero grill, would just require a little thought and a trip to the hardware store. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...98&postcount=2
I also have Hella 500s and when I enquired about those very same brackets they said that the lights were so big (i.e. not "low profile") that they would rub on the bonnet when it was opened/closed. How do your's fit?
They will rub a "bit" on the bonnet, I am only in there about once a week anyway so it wasn't a big deal for me. If you watch ebay you can find the brackets for cheaper than listed on the website.

I just hold the Hella's back while I close the "Bonnet"

I like the combo!
How did you mount those Hellas in the center like that? The VIP mounts seem to be separated more, but I like the option of moving them abit closer together
