:smile: Hey, Dave! A bunch of c3ers will be going on Thursday. I know that Linda (the bubbly redhead with the EB/B MCS), who lives in Burbank, would like to caravan with other MINIs. I'm leaving a few days earlier to visit my sis in Bullhead City, AZ, then motor up to Vegas from there. See ya!!

I'll also be driving up Thursday, March 3. From Pacific Beach (aka Baja La Jolla). I had not planned a departure time, but probably not until late in the morning.

MINI Freeway Caravans are pretty sweet.

 

Is there a location you guys are meeting on the 3rd to caravan to Vegas? Also are you guys going to use two way radios to comunicate , and if so what frequency?

 

Channel 7, subchannel 21 is the standard frequency for MINIs! And, yeah...everyone usually brings along their FRS radios!

Can't speak to the location...perhaps someone else will pipe in!?

Yes bring the radios, and your charger, you'll need the charger while in Vegas.

I'm leaving early Thursday, March 3rd. Going out the 52 to 15 N, then it "North to Vegas" I don't have a time yet but would like to leave so we miss traffic. Maybe leave early meet some people in Temecula, Corona, or Ontario and stop somwhere for breakfast. Then make tracks for Vegas.

A departure place and time have not yet been decided. I was waiting until we hopefully got some more people involved. I am in the San Fernando Valley and thought maybe we could meet for breakfast and then start out. Again nothing is planned as of yet so I am open to any suggestions.

I'm coming from Corona on Thursday too. Somewhere around Ontario Mills or the new mall in Rancho Cucamonga would be a good place to meet up. Let me see who else from SCMM wants to go earlier on Thursday and we will definitely get together with you.

I will probably heading out with you guys. I am in Claremont, so Ontario Mills sounds great to me. Or even the new Victoria Gardens Mall as they have a couple of breakfast spots to fill up before the drive.

 

Not sure if you guys know it or not, but our club (Cooper Club for Charities--c3) is hosting the kick off dinner in Vegas. We've reserved a fantastic buffet dinner that will seat all of us together--not spread around like last year.

Please RSVP for the dinner and you can also prepay and save $5 instead of paying at the door. We're also working on really cool gift bag items donated from vendors and MINI dealers. Those that pre-register early will be assured of getting one.

The money raised from the dinner and raffles are going to CAN (CureAutismNow.org). One of our c3 members has an 11 year old autistic son, so this event is very personal to us.

We are also in need of volunteers to help coordinate while in Vegas. You'll get a free limited edition c3 T-shirt for helping out. We're only printing up a handful.

I'm with you lets choose. A couple of us from the San Diego area are talking about meeting at the 5 & Diner in Temecula for breakfast on the way up the 15. Then meeting others in Corona, Ontario, Victorville, and Barstow on the way.

Yea!!! Party time, my wonderful and lovely boss has given me the clearance to go, I will be working that Thursday but would like to leave early afternoon, or early evening, is anyone leaving at that time to keep my mother and I company? JJ

Well, I'm getting a jump on y'all and going to Bullhead City/Laughlin on Wednesday to visit my sis! Vegas is only about 90 minutes north of BHC!
