I think I saw the same one last Friday at Warner Center in Woodland Hills.

 

I spent some time in the Newport Beach area and ran into a few MINIs. Anyone here?

Me--LY/W MCwith bonnet/boot stripes and at one point a parking ticket on the windshield (whats wrong with backing into a metered space)

Parked off Newport blvd near the pier--CR/B MCS

In the Pavilions parking lot off Newport Blvd--EB/EB, you left before I left so I know you saw me.

In the Irvine Market Place near Babies R Us--BRG/B (thank you for waving back)

Also in the Irvine Market Place parking lot--PW/B, I waved but the angle was funny and you were on the phone-not sure if you saw me.

Spotted SG/Blk Cooper on 10 East before Alameda St exit around 7:10PM--on far right lane--merged from 110 I think.

I was in a Lexus Sport Cross behind you--wife was driving.

License plate said: MINIBG

 

Gold/Gold MC about 3:05PM heading south on the 241 toll road. Very nice ride. You were busy talking and didn't wave back !?!?!?!?
CR/W MCS, 3:30PM, at a parking lot on 17th Street, Tustin. Very sweet ride:thumb sup:.

 

I have seen a CR MCS in the parking lot where I work in Calabasas (near The Commons) for a few months now, but I have never seen the owner...are you on here?

I left my c3 Biz Card in your door. I was at the doctors office with my 1 year old son--getting his checkup!

When I went to get my keys from the parking attendent, he gave me your keys first. I noticed a few extra keys, and was caught off guard--thinking my wife put those there. When I pressed the unlock wings, I noticed the MINI next to mine! LOL.

 

A brand new CR/B MCS from Long Beach Mini on 101 East just west of 405. I gave you a wave and even though you were on the phone you waved back. Nice ride.

 

Anyone drive around Coast Hwy in Oceanside??? I"ve seen a Yellow one drive by my shop almost once a day.

 

Wowzer! we were in LA today goofing off for the afternoon. I must have seen a gazillion MINIs! Pepper white, pure silver, dark silver, and the most memorable one: A brand new BRG with paper plates from Bob Smith parked on Westwood. Good seeing all of ya! Oh yeah and a Gold/B going east on the 60 at Montebello (sp?).

 

Riding around in my new LY MCSC yesterday:

Black MCS in front of UC Riverside --- We waved to each other

Blue MCSC going down the 10 fwy East at Tennessee / Orage in Redlands. License plate was something like NATOR or NATER

Good to see everyone too! I get so excited when another one is around me!!!!

Yesterday on Beverly Glenn in the Canyon area, IB MCS with GB flag roof, white bonnet stripes and a plate that said Wimbly (sp?)

I saw two in Tustin today. One was parked outside the Tustin Brewing Company. It's a Chili Red with an American flag top. I've seen it there quite a few times so the person either works there, or (s)he is a total lush

The other car was a black Cooper with a pink checkered roof.

There is also two other Cooper S 's in the Irvine development I live in (Anacapa) - one is Electric Blue and the other is an MC40. I haven't talked to either person yet. (if you are reading this, I'm the guy at 2509 with the modded Chili Red S).

 

I've seen that one too! I am in a pepper white with a black top... and frequently I'm on Coast Hwy... allot up by the Star Theater.

 

Tonight, around 8:30. Had what I eventually found out was a PS MC with painted trim following me from I-8 to 163 to Washington Street to whatever the street is called at the first light on Washington east of 163. License plate = MINIIAC.

Hope I was driving fast enough for you! I don't like to play in traffic, but tried to get around the offramp at a fun rate of speed since there wasn't anyone in the way!

7:45ish this morning I saw a IB/W Cooper pulled over to the side of the road on Commercenter and Bake...Oregon plates. I see you every once in a while. I've been incognito in my POS VW so I'm sure you wouldn't have seen me. I saw the speed trap going down the hill. Pretty sneaky to nab you going up hill!

Hope it was just a warning!

 

Wife went to jury duty this morning and told me she saw an orange Cabrio got rear ended pretty badly near corner of Sepulveda and Jefferson/Centinela near the Dina Chicken restaurant.

Hope the female driver is ok.

 

I drive it everyday in the Cabrio.... Going to the train station in the morning and coming home....Where exactly is your shop?

Hey minimonkey, do you ever get around to Carlsbad or Encinitas? I've got a PW/PW MCS, and it seems lately I'm seeing PW (in addition to other colors) everywhere. And for all the MINIs I see, I seem to never see anyone else that posts here on NAM. I guess I could always drive by the O'side train station and look at Donna's MINI.

Last Friday in Solana Beach - Cedros district - (oops -forgot to post this last week), Mike had just picked me up at that train station so we could do dinner with the parental units - we saw 7 MINI's in like 2 miles!!! I remember a BRG Cabrio with out of state plates - Georgia I think???

But ditto on never seeing anybody that posts here on NAM - and nobody has spotted us yet either... ho hum....someday....:smile:

You coming to any more of the WCM runs? We haven't seen ya in a while..

I saw your car on Torrey Pines a couple of months ago, we were on our bikes. You are right about there being more PW around.

 

Donna, I'd love to go on more WCM runs! I know there's one this weekend, and darn it, we've already made plans to visit some friends up near Portland. I plan on consoling myself with some of the local wines.

MINICD, if I was on Torrey Pines, I was either on my way to or from the Birch Aquarium, I volunteer there at least once a week.

OH, and today I saw a LY/BLK MCSc on Rancho Santa Fe in Olivenhain. Second time I've sighted this fellow, got a wave this time. Can't believe he had the top up tho....
