Nice, new, off the lot PW/B S in the parking lot of the new Jamba Juice / Starbucks center in Redlands. I love PW/B, almost ordered that instead of my LY/B.

There's now a really sweet looking CR/B MCS with anthracite rims ripping around El Cajon--saw you today at 4:45 or so, turning from Magnolia to Chase. Sweeeeet ride.

 

Ohh, and most every day in the parking lot at work I see a JB/W Cooper with a single white bonnett stripe.

Ohh wait, that's Rovi from LCI that never posts but always reads these boards.

Around 2:45, IB/IB eastbound on South Coast Drive just before Bear.

2nd . . .
Silk Green/W MC westbound on Talbert around 3pm.

3rd MINI . . .
LY/B southbound on Beach Blvd, just before Talbert in Huntington Beach.

4th one . . .
IB/B southbound on Beach Blvd. between La Palma Ave and the 91 in Buena Park.

 

Hey man, that might have been me, I'm not sure. I've got the same setup, and I was out on a date that evening - I usually use the cornering-g date test to see how much adventure a girl is up for!

Highlight of my day! Saw a PS/B Cooper on the way home froma terrible day at work. He saw me I nodded. We then proceeded to weave in and out of traffic on the westbound 10 from Cabazon to Pennsylvania Ave in Beumont, waved bye and continued home. Thanks, you made my day!

Noda mention that I was weaving in & out with ... (guess what) ... an Excursion on 91 this afternoon. He was "chasing" me 4 a long stretch. It's like hide & seek and a little like Tom & Jerry. I finally kool off & join the crowd b4 reaching the spot where "big brothers" used to pick-a-poo all the time.

Saw "ZRAWHCS" on the 405 this afternoon, near Hawthorne... I was driving my wife's silver VW Passat.

Yo, "brand new" MC LY/B on the I-10 W, whoever you are. It was quite a nice drive last night. I really enjoy waltzing with you on that long stretch of road. You first acknowledged me with a beam from behind, then after that we were weaving in & out ... away from the crowd. Sometimes you lead, sometimes I did, sometimes "others" tried to cut in, but they didn't always get a chance. Though, I still wanna hang on to the rythm but Coopie had to go home so we did say g'd bye to you by 3 beam flash.

I think I saw El Rojo Diablo??? On the 10 east near the 60 interchange. Was surprised to see him so far north since I thought he's in the OC area.

Yeah it's always cool to find NAM members on the road!! It's very rare for me! Most of the MINI's I encounter in LA are not friendly at all. But when I saw your exhaust from a 1/4 mile away, I knew this was serious, and then I saw your plate. LOL.

I had my wife and 11 month old son in back. She isn't into the waving/acknowledgement thing. LOL

On the way home last Tues afternoon, I spot an MC LY/W on 91W so I proceeded up front to greet him with a "V" sign. He waved at me & I followed him. That made 2's Company. A few miles more, I saw an MCS PW/B in the crowd and that's when my carpool partners (in my Mini) got excited ... "There's another one over there," he said. I zoomed up along his (MCS PW/B) wing and waved at him like crazy. He gave me a smile & waved back . I then got into the #2 lane (in the middle) and from there on we made 3's a Crowd. I noticed that people were looking at us ... "interesting" , I thought! After a while, I waved good bye to them as I splitted up the line 'cuz Coopie gotta go into the HOV lane, there I used my cellphone to take a few pix of the other two. The pix are not perfect but I think it's nice enough for me to "capture a moment." Ya know!

Going down the 15 freeway South, around 8:15pm near the 91 interchange I saw an LY/W MC with custom white stripes. I was in my 545i and jumped up and down in excitement (as I'm waiting for my LY to arrive next month).

 

Saw Silver MCS plate "Legal PI" Northbound on 405, North of the 101.


....but I'm still yet to be reported on this thread.

What freeway do you usually take?

 

If I ever get on a freeway it's usually the 405.... but because I work less than 2 miles from home, I only take freeways on weekends.

 

Hey man, I spotted you too! You just reported it quicker than I did. I merged onto the 405, saw your BRG MCS with the nice two-tone interior, and gave you a quick wave before switching gears. The next thing I know, you raced by me and gave me a wave. It made my day seeing someone else having fun in their Mini...everyone else looked pretty miserable on the 405.

This afternoon along Golden State Freeway . . .
(I was southbound, all sighted MINIs were northbound)

2 'Lectric Blues (between 3:30 - 4pm)
1st had black roof/bonnet stripes- around McBean Parkway
2nd had white roof- just north of Burbank.

PW/PW- area next to Griffith Park (about 4:10)
I waved, not sure if you saw me.

Yeah, I was on the phone too for most of it, so couldnt really do as many flybys as I would usually do. I was actually on my way to Steves to get the JCW exhaust put on.

We saw each other across a crowded intersection and waved, then proceeded on in our work-a-day lives...

PS: Someone in my office parking lot has a brand-spanking new CB/B MCc with Long Beach MINI plates. Is it anyone here? I work on Sorrento Valley Road...

 

On my way to work this morning, East bound on Olympic Blvd near Westwood Blvd, I pulled up alongside another BRG/W MCS no license plates front and rear and I think it was an 04, a cutie business lady driving it. I just want to tell her 2 things:

1) You're hot.
2) Nice wheels.

 

Last night on 5 and 805 South, followed a CR/W MC with rare black bumper inserts and the plate MINI 4 B.

This morning on 163 North, an all CR MCS with MELLN 3 or something like that.
