I won't be able to be at the Saturday SCMM viewing of the Italian Job this weekend. However, the Wifie and I are going to see it at the Rubidoux Drive In this Friday night, if it's playing (it should be). Gates open at 7pm and the movies start at 8:30pm. It's right off the 60 frwy in Rubidoux. If you're not doing anything, come on out.

This isn't an organized event, hell it's not even an event :smile: , so parking is first come first served.

When was the last time you went to a drive in? In your Mini?????

 

have you checked the Van Buren yet? I hear that the Rubidoux is a bit on the 'ghetto' side?

no tracy cuz i am really confused about it. i read that it is free and you have to fill out the paper on the join scmm thread and other people tells me its 25 a year. i am too confused about it to join

I just got home from the Rubidoux Drive In. I thought the movie was good. The venue was pretty good also. Clean, blacktop parking, clean snack bar, cheap ($5.00 a head) and you can take your own icechest and popcorn. We'd go again, which is saying a lot 'cause the wifie's kind of picky about these type of things. I backed the car in and we sat outside in some chairs with the back opened and the sound coming through the stereo.

I didn't see any other Mini's (except the one's on the big screen).

Fun night.
