I live in Gilmer Tx and i just bought my first mini about a month ago .I got a 09 midnight metalic black clubman .I am starting to see quite a few minis in this area and was wondering if any were on this forum .Any other mini owners from near this area ?

 

Hello redron123! I am a Mini owner in the Tyler area.Like you,I see a few around also.

 

I am trying to get an east texas mini club chapter started .I created a face book club where people can brainstorm .Search " East Texas Mini Coopers " .I would like to start a group to help each other out and do mods go on rides what a burger cruise nights and go to big national events .

 

Sounds like a great idea. Come on East Texas Mini owners,I know your out there, get on board.

 

Found the facebook club. Sent a request to join,but the group is closed. You have to invite or approve me to join.

 

www.metroplexmini.org has forum space setup for those not in the D/FW or Houston area. The East TX contingent has been growing on there.

 

Yeah metroplex really isnt east texas we are 2.5 hours east .I created a web page and requested a "East texas mini coopers " section under the south clubs on this forum .I hope it gets aproved .

 

I approved you as a member on my facebook group .

 

We'll wait and see. Having a club listing in our area will be great!

 

Yeah i think we can get at least a dozen or so dedicated members would make a decent club .I am going to see if metroplex mini will let me post about a new mini chapter here in east texas on their forums .
