Got my MC this week. Would be interested in joining a Mini club in this area. I'm in Austin.

I just placed a MCS order today, and will definitely be interested in a couple months when the car arrives! (I'm in Austin)

 

Just got my MCS (INDY BLUE) Dec. 20th..... Picked it up in Baton Rouge, LA.... Live in Dallas and we have a couple of dealers in DFW now. Have heard of no clubs in the DFW area, and quite frankly would rather join a remote club... which would mean "Road trips!!"

 

I am in DFW, but failing a club up here I'll motor down there. Wouldn't mind finding some DFW locals interested in forming a club.

I'll be motoring down to Wimberly on the 18th and 19th of January, should prove to be a good trip, looking forward to the roads down there.

Should we make up "business cards" for MCO? I've seen about 5 MINIs in Austin so far, but have no clue if any of them visit the websites... If I had something to place under their wipers, I'd do it every time I saw one (I'm mostly in the NW area)

I live in Austin and just placed my order today for an electric blue MCS. Not a bad company car huh? Would love to join a Mini club, keep me posted of any gatherings.

 

San Antonio (soon to be) owner here. We currently have a Yahoo discussion group, a preliminary website, and a group of rabid enthusiasts. South Texas Mini Club
Next event is a gimmick rallye with the local Miata club on Saturday June 7th. Details on the group messages.

San Antonian here with MCS. Ha anyone looked at metrplexmini.com, and Yahoo group- minimotoring. These represent adn have some avid and pasionate mini fans mostly from San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas, even Houston has joined in.

 

Any of the Austin group planning on attending BMW CCA's Oktoberfest? Plan on trucking the Minibeast up for the week and would love to hook up with the local group!
