Tampa Bay area MINI owners meet up for dinner and the movie.
Let's do it at one of the big, newer cinemas that are near restaurants like:
AMC Theatres Woodlands 20 in Oldsmar
or
Muvico Baywalk 20 in St Pete
or
Muvico Centro Ybor

Check with your local dealer (Ferman?). Mini corporate is supposedly working on doing pre-release previews in all the major cities for their Mini owners.

 

I may be a Tampa MINI owner soon enough...

You have an in with the people at Ferman... can you check with their marketing dept to see if they are planning anything for opening night?

 

I'll call my contact at Ferman. Either way I'd be game for a get together. Ybor is fairly central for Tampa...and we can go out drinking after the movie.

A while back there was talk of MINI actually renting out a theater for the sneak preview of the Italian Job for the dealership. I guess kind of like a party or something. I havent heard anything for a while though. However, I have been asking. I guess recently our MINI Rep. for the region just got removed from his duties and now we are kind of in between Reps. which makes it a little more difficult to get answers to questions like these. Don't worry though, I will try to find something out. Good luck on the way to NC. Have a good time!

I'm about to email Joyce at Downtown MINI and see if they have anything planned as well...

 

You know.... Out here in HOLLYWOOD, CA. NOBODY knows... and it's looking GRIM as far as MINI and a Screening for Owner's is concerned....


Best thing to do it organize it yourself or with a local Mini club. You will be much more satisfied.

PS - From what I learned, from a reliable source, is that they plan to "give-away" Italian Job promotional items.... and they want everyone in a MINI to act as a rolling advertisement for them and the film.... which would be ok if they offered compensation. Otherwise...<img></p> :evil:
