I've spoken with the dyno. They will stay open on Saturday from 7:30 am to 9 pm-ish if necessary. If we can't finish all the tunes on Saturday, then they will open up on Sunday and can do a half-day for $500 more.

There are 10 people who have paid. One more has expressed interest, but right now I'm holding the event to 10. If we go into Sunday, our dyno costs (which must be shared) will be higher, so that is a last resort.

 

Only a couple of short weeks to go!!! Put me down for early on Saturday if you haven't done so already please. I have some family in town and would like to spend the afternoon with them. Thanks!

 

I can be slotted anywhere time-wise. I live less than an hour away and have been to Renn Haus in the past, so my logistical situation isn't complicated.

 

Time isn't an issue for me either. I'm only a little over an hour away.

 

Does anyone know a good hotel in Sarasota for Jan? I'm looking online, but anyone got any opinions or (even better) hook ups?

I have taken Friday off so will be driving down from North Carolina. Could I request a slot early on Saturday as I will need to hit the road back to Charlotte after the tune. I am not going to be able to do that if I have a late afternoon slot on Saturday, which was my original request.

I am still waiting to here from Jan regarding the cams. I hope they come in soon. I have Wednesday booked with my local Mini Mechanic.

I might be able to take MINI7's place because he's waiting for a cam, but if that falls through I would like a slot on Sunday if possible

 

Jack, I am still waiting on the cam. I believe that Jan is in CT doing a RMW dyno party, so he has been tied up with that and I have not been able to touch base with him yet. Unless I get the cam on Wednesday early am, it looks like I will be SOL and will have to schedule a tune later on.

 

I seriously doubt I have cams before this event. They are just getting the cam grinder going now.

Well talked to jan today, I will have the injectors, Can anyone bring a tool and help me install them early saturday, im getting tuned at 7:30,? I will buy you a quick breakfast/ gas. Anyone can help me, never done the install before?

I will be installing injectors on Saturday, too. There is a diy thread. And, some further tips... I'll bring tools.

 

What time are you putting yours in? You and early riser, im gettin gput in at 7:30?

We can move you back to 8:30 just to be safe. I'll check with the 8:30 person to make sure this is ok. I have to be there all day because I'll be the only one who knows all that's going on .
