Wasn't there some talk a little while back for some folks to get together at Muvico to see the movie on opening weekend?

I just picked up my tickets for the Italian Job viewing sponsored by South MINI. I would have loved going to the one sponsored by Lauderdale MINI up in Boca Raton but it is very hard for us to make it on time all the way upthere on a weeknight. South MINI's viewing will take place only a few miles away from my office, so it is much easier to get to on Wednesday night.

The South MINI viewing already has 86 people signed up (And counting), so it will be one big caravan on Wednesday evening.

 

Just so there is no confusion the above statement is not correct. Originally we were planning something up that way but Lauderdale MINI stepped in with the plans from MINIUSA that all dealers were having a party for their customers. That being said the party for the Lauderdale people is taking place at Muvico on I-75 and Sheridan Street out west in Davie. We are getting a special place to park and our friends at Lauderdale are having all sorts of pre-movie fun planned. Just want to clear that up so nobody went to Boca looking.

Won't that Friday be the British Car night at Tower Shops???

 

Yes it is Holly. Planning on another trip?? Last Friday of the month is British Night at the Tower Shoppes. And today in the paper I read that they got another extension of the lease to use the parking area.

 

Ok we are two days away from the movie. Does everyone have their cars clean and ready to show off at the theater?? Mine is all ready and waiting !!!

 

Are you kidding me, Nobull? :smile: With the ongoing rain downpurs, it has become a daunting task to keep the car sparkling showroom clean. Our Italian Job screening is tomorrow afternoon, so I'll try to give the car another wash and detail tonight.

 

Kidding??? Would I kid about cleaning my car?? Or keeping it clean?? If it rains my girl stays inside. And if she gets caught in the rain then it gives me another reason to stay in the garage cleaning her for the next weekend. My car is cleaner today than it was brand new. Two more days till IJ. !!!!!

 

OH man Bruce....Olivia is the DIRTIEST she's EVER been....and NO I probably won't have the opportunity to clean her for the movie....

Well what did you think?? What a cool movie. the MINIs stole the show just as we thought they would. The after party give aways were great also. Even if I did'nt win again. This will be a DVD I add to the collection. And pictures will be posted tomorrow of the event.
