I wanted to toss this out there. Having lived overseas for several years myself, I have used these types of services and can tell you that they actually are notorious for losing packages. I have even had one high dollar item lost by them. I would be very careful about using them. This is likely where everything fell apart and that is not the sellers fault.

Why would he care? He got my money, he doesn't have anything to lose...
I would say that last statement is a little harsh, seeing that one package WAS delivered and that the lack of you knowing it was delivered was no fault of his...

youre being way too judgmental and accusative here Cooper

you obviously live out of the country which you have stated many times - so having the package arrive today or tomorrow, shouldnt matter anyhow, because you are not there to use it

secondly, like MLPearson is saying, youve already received one, which obviously had a long delay which is neither yours, nor the seller's fault.

lastly, while yes, he is responsible for having the item sent out, he cannot be responsible once it leaves his hands - he isnt delivering it himself

and people have busy lives, not everyone can be at their computer 24/7 to worry about your item being shipped....he probably has a job, and a family, that need his attention way more than your floor mats

give the guy a break --- yes, your floor mats are still in limbo....but he came through with the first box, why would he be "stealing" your money and not sending floor mats

this is funny.

usps is 2-3 business days. My package arrived in 25 days. Isn't it normal that I am going crazy?
Back in time when I sent the payment, the seller replied to my PMs everyday. After this situation rised, he only PMed me once in 3 weeks.

Saying this again. I AM NOT SAYING HE DID NOT SHIP THE STUFF!!! the point is not whether he shipped it or not. It is whether I received it or not.

If that package is lost via transit. I still have to get my refund because the seller can claim his money through the lost box, I can't!!! I can't call FedEx and say, hey I'm the receiver and didn't get my stuff, send me the money.

No one wants to understand but this would be all solved IF THE SELLER PROVIDED ME THE TRACKING NUMBER. We can all know where my package is.

So before telling me to give the guy a break etc, why not tell the seller to give me a tracking number. I sent the payment on February 7th or something, It has been almost 40 days!!! and you are telling me to give the guy a break.

Shame you can't find that tracking number. I bet it shows that it was delivered to this middleman and disappeared there. As I said before, I have had packages vanish with services like this before. One that did was a nice new Canon SLR camera.

Did you ask for it to be shipped insured?

I wonder if you paid by CC that you could go to FedEx and have them pull the tracking number from your receipt and you can provide the tracking # and delivery status to him.

I have been able to go back to FedEx give them the date of shipment and who it was shipped to and they pulled it up for me.

All my parts were removed and shipped by a local performance shop I know and trust. They ship out a bunch of stuff everyday from ebay and forum sales so they just ship out my stuff for me too. He gave me the slips all stapled together. Due to my house being renovated, I put it all on my desk before the work started and it was put into a box. I unpacked everything and the slips arent there.

I shipped all the smaller stuff in one package which he received, He told me to roll up the front GP mats and put them in a box. Which the shop did for me and shipped it out. I didnt insure it as its a lower price item and I have yet to lose anything.

Because this thing has gotten way out of hand with this thread, negative itrader feedback and all. I dont want to drag it on, I will just refund him partially for the mats.

thank you for your understanding. After all is settled, I will remove that negative thing if I can, if I can't, will leave a positive one saying that everything is solved between us.

Also, do check with FedEx, and get the tracking number from them. You can claim $100 from them for the lost package which will be more than what you'll be refunding me.

MLPearson79 - I didn't ask for insurance because there were 2 boxes that are $100 insured automatically. The total cost of the stuff I bought is $150.
Basically they are already insured for more than what they are worth.

The claim situation is not quite that simple...the fedex-ground INS system is a bit different (they were formally RPS)....they don't just hand you the $$. Just be sure you have the info when you do the claim form....
Good to hear things are getting worked out!

having dealt with FedEx claims before, I did not have a problem, although yes, you do need to provide a lot of information (starting with the tracking number, duh!) which the seller cannot seem to provide. Moot point now, the seller doesnt seem to care..

Unfortunately, there are a few bad eggs but I wouldn't "not buy" from anyone on here...

yes, there is no reason to blame every seller on the forum.
if you read the last few messages, the seller decided to refund me some part of the money too...
This thread should not make some people not to buy from NAM but just be more careful on the shipping process etc.

i just call them deadbeat sellers.

i just got 50 points infraction (not sure what this means) for being baited by one of these guys, so my humble advice is to leave it alone if they're not responding.

i was first in line for a local pickup when the seller decided to PM me the previous day saying he's PM'ing all 10 potential buyers regarding the fact that his product was replica (despite this info already being on the ad).
this turned into a slew of insults from him when i asked for clarification. when i left feedback for him on itrader, i was docked for "taunting and baiting" when it was clearly the other way around. Little did i know that i couldn't leave feedback for a non-transaction, which leads to my question:

how do we warn other potential NAM'ers regarding another member? if not itrader, then what?

iTrader feedback will show if the person has had bad transactions. You need to leave appropriate feedback when you've had a bad transaction - NOT when you "just don't like" a guy. In addition, feedback can be respectful while still being negative. Simply explaining the negative transaction is more effective than slinging insults.

once again a moderator is not answering my question regarding this specific case:
if not itrader, then what form of feedback do i leave, and with whom?
"explaining a negative transaction"???? TO WHO???? and then what becomes of that?? this is the 3rd time I've brought this up with a mod, and each time you guys skip this question, making me feel like it's a dead end for those in my situation.

my takeaway from your responses is that if it's communicated in PM, i can be the biggest a-hole to the other guy but suffer no consequences. it is only when i make it a public feedback that i get dinged? genius.

this was my problem. if i left negative feedback in the wrong place i admit that, but my feedback was very heartfelt and i don't take anything that i wrote back. it wasn't just because i "didn't like the guy", what kind of guy do you think i am? do you also think that i'm trying to get back at him? if so....you are very wrong.

for the last time, my feedback was to inform and warn others of his rude and childish behavior/comments. PERIOD.

Pot meet kettle.

You had a disagreement you are being disrespectful to the rest of the members of this forum trying to tarnish the names of those who disagree with you.

Here, I'll answer your question more bluntly, since something is clearly being lost in translation.

It's not the way we handle disputes around here. You can report the PMs, and if they are abusive they will be handled appropriately. You can NOT be abusive back - or, actually, you CAN, but then if it's reported, you are held responsible for your actions.

So, instead of doing the right thing at the time and reporting the PMs, you chose to strike back using iTrader inappropriately.

This is a very simple case of two wrongs not making a right. It's pretty simple, and in fact is our #2 guidline:

RESPECT
When posting, both members and vendors must ALWAYS be respectful of fellow members and vendors. Personal attacks, trolling/baiting, deliberate antagonizing, and flaming will not be tolerated. If you feel you are being attacked, report the post or private message rather than replying or flaming back. However, do not use the report bad post feature to "cry wolf" when you are in fact the instigator of the demise of a discussion. Doing so will result in an infraction or strike.
I hope that is clear enough for you. At this point, we are talking in circles.

Seriously? Dude, how come everytime I see one of your posts, you're bitching about something about the way the mods do or don't do something.

OMG, give it a rest...

DUH. maybe you're not reading all my posts? try it and get some perspective before you offer more of your "wisdom". thanks.

if i remember correctly, you were the guy that felt the marketplace was just fine, despite it having a plethora of obsolete/old ads and deadbeat sellers, so seeing your suggestion of giving it a rest and not rocking the boat hardly surprises me. now that the marketplace has been somewhat cleaned up, are you insisting on going back to the way things were?
more importantly, those gripes were posted in the SITE FEEDBACK section, isn't that THE place to praise or b*tch about all things NAM? let me say again....DUH.

moving on....

thanks to Pearson79 for FINALLY answering my questions directly. This was ALL THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR SINCE THE EXCHANGE BEGAN. If drew had answered with what Pearson79 just did the first time, this would be a non-issue right now. It only took her one time to see the disconnect, while it took drew 3 games of hide and seek to answer the same friggin questions? i mean.....REALLY? man behind the curtain indeed. if you don't want me to post on others' forums in order to call you out for being evasive, then try answering my PMs when i write you. pot meet kettle? more like push comes to shove.

in the meantime, seeing as that i don't have a choice in the matter of deleting my membership, then i guess you're stuck with me folks.

Not reading all your posts??? Perhaps you should read some of your own.
You have 58 posts to your name. Out of 58 posts, you've responded to less than 20 different threads. Out of those less than 20 threads, 6 of those you do nothing but complain.

Here's a few examples of posts that you pitch a fit over..

Removal of Item in Marketplace after Sale

Is NAM broke or what?

Seller stopped responding to PMs

Feedback

And to think.....I almost paid good money to join this abysmal site.

Deadbeat sellers

You ***** more than my wife does...

moving on....
I wish....

If drew had answered with what Pearson79 just did the first time, this would be a non-issue right now.
Highly unlikely... it's in the genes of some people to constantly complain.

seeing as that i don't have a choice in the matter of deleting my membership,
Well, you could simply not continue to log on...

All I'm saying is with someone with 58 entire posts, you sure like to complain.
