Feedback

I have a feedback comment...rather it is a question more than anything.

How do you get a moderator to respond to an e-mail or PM? I have been trying to get a response from Edge for almost 6 months now-no reply.

I don't think you can send anyone to his door with a shotgun to force a response...maybe in GA, I don't know.

Why not PM/Email another moderator, since Edge obviously doesn't have the time for you?

Funny...not.

I am directing the issue with Edge because he is the individual who the issue is with. But I guess since the other lowly members of NAM aren't worth the effort for Edge to contact, I will look to another moderator for resolution.

This is part of the reason I am really getting fed up with NAM.

He's not an Admin anymore, if you need help with something feel free to drop me or one of the current moderators a message.

Any way NAM can keep a list of current moderators posted so we know who's active and who isn't? Of course NAM would have to periodically update the list as the moderators statuses change.

Just a helpful hint.

If you scroll to the very bottom of the forums and click "View Forum Leaders", you get this page. You can then scroll through all the mods, admins, club leaders, etc.

Thanks. I wish they would put it in a more obvious place.

funny you should mention this, drew, cuz this lowly member just got ignored on PM for a second time in less than a week by....YOU.

you say i'm making a bigger deal than it is yet you won't respond to my pointed questions.....and you wonder why i'm still scratching my head?

i'm finally starting to get a sense of what your version of "moderating" is, which at my work is just called "playing god".
have fun behind your curtain, and motor on buddy.

You told me you were leaving the site multiple times. I answered your questions you just didn't like the answers.

Your accounts don't just get deleted, and we're certainly not going to erase your disciplinary record just because you don't like having it associated with your account. You're "free to leave" as you put it, but your account stays as was explained in the PM to you.

first of all, drew, thanks again for only replying when i remind you to. If making this public is the only way to get you to respond, then so be it.

secondly, to clarify, i said i wanted to cancel my membership, not just leave.
i asked:
"how is it that people can't delete a FREE account? what is the thinking behind this? if i can join by my free will, why can't i leave the same way?
must i violate ANOTHER guideline so that i can leave via getting kicked out? is that the only way (before you get excited, this is NOT a threat or me trying to 'bait' you)? isn't this kind of backwards?"

your reply was:
"We do not delete profiles, if you wish not to participate then you simply need not log in"

not exactly answering the whole "what is the thinking behind this" portion, don't you think? 2nd try. please answer me this time. simply telling me that you don't do it is NOT AN ANSWER.

third, you did NOT answer all of my questions. for someone that likes to use the QUOTES from the other person's last message, you sure did skip the parts i had that ended with a question mark.

examples:
*where i can file a formal complaint on this guy, are you saying i have no case?
*also, would you have replied had i not sent my last message? (the answer is clearly NO)

and finally, i'm not leaving because of the ding on my account, but thanks for your assumption. Like i said in the PM, "this site is clearly more effective for me when i don't contribute." If i can't warn others about an abusive member and instead get dinged for trying to, then i'd rather not be a part of this community. Rather, i'll just pull info from here but not offer my 2 cents like other unregistered users. everybody wins.

I hope we're finally clear on this, so please don't put me back in the position of having to remind you again for a response. a 3rd time would be baiting me, in my opinion....

You're the one seeking clarification, and I explained to you multiple times that you do not have a case as you weren't being abused you merely had a disagreement and since you're answering your own questions about responses, when you're clearly getting them. Your attempts to bait moderators certainly aren't letting "everybody win" either.
